Spaten Dunkel Munich, Germany{5.5%abv} ~ Spaten Dunkel is a Dunkel (dark) Lager brewed by Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu (Spaten Brewery) in Munich, Germany. It is a traditional Munich Dunkel, and boasts an ABV of 5.5%. Smooth and delicious, the malt is toasty and the lager strain is clean and soft on the palate. The aroma has minor hints of sulfur and the malts utilized give off a mellowed grape or prune nose and taste. With a clear, dark brown body, the crisp lager characteristics are present throughout each sip. The hops are muted to say the least. If there is any indication of them, they would probably be found in the earthy aftertaste $3/12oz. $4/20oz. On Tap Now for a limited time!
Brooklyn Sorachi Ace Brooklyn, NY{7.6%abv} ~ Brooklyn Sorachi Ace is a classic saison, a dry, hoppy unfiltered golden farmhouse ale, but featuring rare Sorachi Ace hop. Fermented with special Belgian ale strain, the brewers add Sorachi Ace hops post-fermentation. The beer emerges with a bright spicy lemon zest aroma. $7.5 16oz.! On Tap Now for a limited time!
Although major bridge repairs will hinder incoming and outgoing weekend traffic for East Nashville for much of the Spring and Summer, all may enter East Nashville via Ellington Parkway and by taking the first exit at Cleveland St, and taking a right. This will take you right beside Holland House and The Pharmacy. If you continue straight, you will hit Gallatin Rd. Right will take you to 5 Points, the many shops in and around Woodland St, and the Lockeland Springs area. (Or you could just stop at The Pharmacy!) Although the repairs are necessary for ongoing safety issues, many East Nashville Merchants that rely on weekend business are obviously concerned about the harm that the closures could do to their businesses. We ask that you all please remember that EAST NASHVILLE IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS

If you didn’t score tics to E. Nash Beer Fest, just come on down to the beer garden! And if you did, and liked what you were tasting, come on down after. We stock beer from over half of the guest craft breweries, including Lucky Bucket, Jackelope, Yazoo, Brooklyn, Chattanooga Brewing, French Broad, Ft. Collins, Lazy Magnolia, Lost Coast, Left Hand, New Belgium, Shiner, Stoudt’s, Victory, Terrapin, Napa Smith and Sweetwater. Big congrats to East Nashville’s own upcoming breweries, Broadcast Brewing Co. and Fat Bottom. We are glad to have you! Have a great time today and please be careful.
Sprecher Mai-Bock {$4, $6} :Maibock (literally: May Bock) is the Bavarians’ strong, golden lager favored during the brief transation between the severe winters along the northern edge of the Alps, when people hunker down indoors, and the hot summers, when people flock to the beer gardens.
Pale malt flavors are balanced with a rich hop character and a light fruit bouquet in this seasonal spring lager. Traditional dry-hopping and extended aging give this blonde bock a distinctive flowery aroma and a potent kick.
The Pharmacy’s first offering for Craft Beer Week is the Lost Coast Tangerine Wheat out of Eureka, California. This refreshing citrus ale is superbly balanced, with a nose that is all tangerine, and an effervescence uncommon to the style. Brewed with wheat (pours cloudy) and crystal malts and finished with Perle hops, this delight of a brew is perfect for today’s weather!
The Pharmacy will be posting craft beer specials every morning all next week. Please visit daily and come and enjoy Nashville’s Original Beer Garden!
Lots of exciting things coming up very soon! We are putting the finishing touches on the biergarten throughout the remainder of March to gear up for the Spring and Summer season. There will be 7 new trees, increased seating, and a party deck complete with its own bar, which will function as a service bar on busier days to ensure quick beer service. We will also be selling liter mugs that, once purchased, may be brought back for refills. So much to make this season as enjoyable as humanly possible. We are looking forward to packing ‘em in very soon! Cheers and love ~ The Pharmacy
